*Wireless range is measured under favorable conditions. Walls, people, competing wireless traffic and transmitter placement can reduce real-world coverage. For live microphones or video, prioritize latency before maximum range.

Start with four questions: Is the event indoors or outdoors? Is the source speech, video or background music? Do you need new speakers or receivers for an existing powered PA? How far is the furthest speaker from the transmitter? Choose Harmony 2 for lower-latency indoor speech/video, Harmony A1 or A2 for a complete Auracast speaker set, Harmony A3 for existing powered speakers, and ShareCast for moving groups.
Speakers or receivers within the same supported system receive the same broadcast and are designed for synchronized playback. Do not mix Harmony 2’s dedicated speaker-sync radio link with unrelated speakers. Auracast models should be checked for broadcast compatibility before mixing brands.
Harmony 2 is the strongest choice here, with approximately 30 ms speaker-sync latency. Harmony A1 and A2 are around 60 ms, while Harmony A3 is approximately 50–70 ms. For a live microphone, connect a mixer or wireless microphone receiver through a line-level AUX output; direct XLR, USB or TRRS headset microphones are not supported by these transmitters.
Yes—choose Harmony A3 when your speakers are powered (active) and accept 3.5 mm AUX or RCA input. The kit includes one transmitter and three receivers. Passive speakers still require a separate amplifier and cannot be driven directly by the receivers.
No Wi-Fi or control app is required for the core systems on this page. The transmitter takes audio by Optical, AUX or Bluetooth, then distributes it to its speakers or receivers. Compatible Auracast receivers join the selected broadcast instead of using traditional one-to-one Bluetooth pairing.
Not from one transmitter. One transmitter distributes one audio source to its connected speakers or receivers. If two rooms need independent content, plan separate transmitters or separate systems and assign each group to its own source or broadcast.
Harmony 2 supports up to 100 Harmony 2 speakers. Harmony A1 and A2 are designed to expand with compatible Auracast speakers and devices. Harmony A3 can expand by adding compatible receivers for more powered speakers. Actual usable coverage depends on layout, power, obstacles and RF conditions—not speaker count alone.
ShareCast is the portable IP67 option for moving outdoor groups, guides and activities. Harmony A1, A2 and Harmony 2 are primarily indoor systems and may not provide enough volume for large, noisy outdoor events. For an outdoor PA, use appropriately powered active speakers with Harmony A3 and verify range and weather protection separately.
Harmony A3 supports broadcast naming and password-protected broadcasting. If privacy or several nearby broadcasts matter, tell us how many systems will operate at once so the channel and naming plan can be checked before deployment.
