Customer story

From successful trials to a working AuraPlex installation

Christchurch Baptist Church tested the assistive listening system before moving into The Beacon Centre and continued using it in the new venue.

Testing before the move

The church first trialled the assistive listening system in its previous building. The customer reported that those trials went well, giving the team confidence before the move.

A new home for the church

Christchurch Baptist Church moved into The Beacon Centre in central Christchurch. The new venue gave the church an opportunity to carry its assistive listening plan into a purpose-built worship space.

Direct listening with AuraPlex MX

AuraPlex MX takes the church audio and makes it available as an Auracast broadcast. Venue receivers give listeners a direct audio option without relying only on sound travelling through the room.

Positive use in the new venue

After the system was put into use at The Beacon Centre, the church confirmed that it continued to perform well in the new worship space.

The church confirmed: “The system is working great at CBC.”
