DEDICATED WIRELESS LISTENING KITS

Faster switching. Lower latency. One controlled system.

Choose these non-Auracast kits when real-time sync, multi-channel operation or in-room privacy matters more than BYOD. Every listener uses the compatible receiver or headphone supplied for that system.

DEDICATED SYSTEM OR AURACAST?

Choose the trade-off deliberately.

Dedicated systems win when latency, channel control or contained audio is the priority. Auracast wins when guests must use their own compatible hearing aids, earbuds or headphones.

Lower-latency choicesDedicated links reduce delay for lip sync, live interpretation and group viewing; exact latency depends on the model.
Faster channel controlMulti-channel models let listeners switch programs directly on the supplied headphone or receiver.
Venue devices requiredThese kits do not support direct BYOD joining. Guests use the system’s compatible receiver or headphone.
STILL CHOOSING?

FAQ

What to confirm before choosing.

Start with latency, channel count, range, privacy and whether BYOD is required.

Shop multi-speaker systems →
What is a non-Auracast kit?

It is a complete listening system that uses a dedicated 2.4 GHz, UHF or infrared connection between its transmitter and compatible receiving devices.

When should I choose this instead of Auracast?

Choose a dedicated system when lower latency, fast channel switching, long-range UHF or room-contained infrared audio matters more than letting guests use their own compatible devices.

Can guests use their own hearing aids, earbuds or headphones?

They cannot join these broadcasts directly. A guest may connect a suitable wired listening device to a compatible receiver where the product supports that output, but BYOD is not the core workflow.

Do all of these kits use 2.4 GHz?

No. Most use 2.4 GHz, UT90 uses UHF, and R500 uses room-contained infrared.

Can I add more receivers or headphones?

Many models can scale with compatible add-on devices, but the supported type and maximum quantity are model-specific. Check the product page before expanding.

Are speaker systems included?

No. Harmony, ShareCast and other multi-speaker systems remain in the separate Multi Speaker Systems collection.
