Using a T-Coil neckloop?

Fix a problem

Choose what you see or hear. If these checks do not help, contact Venucast support.

Connected, but no sound

Possible cause: The listening plug is loose, volume is low, the wrong broadcast is selected, or the transmitter has no source audio.

  1. Push the headphones or neckloop plug fully into AuraView’s 3.5mm output. For a neckloop, check that the hearing aids use their T/telecoil program.
  2. Press Volume + gradually and check the listening device’s own volume, if available.
  3. Confirm the broadcast name with venue staff. Highlight that name with Up or Down, then press ENTER.
  4. Ask staff to check that the transmitter is receiving and broadcasting audio. Try another wired listening device if available.

Done: The correct program is audible. If not, contact support with the broadcast name, connected mark and checks you tried.

No broadcasts, or my broadcast is missing

Possible cause: The transmitter is off, out of range, or not broadcasting a compatible public Auracast signal.

  1. Ask venue staff to turn on the transmitter and confirm its public broadcast name.
  2. Move AuraView closer to the transmitter and allow the automatic scan to refresh.
  3. Use Up or Down to browse the full list. AuraView displays up to 10 available broadcasts.

Done: The required name appears; highlight it and press ENTER. If the name remains absent, ask staff or support to check transmitter compatibility and broadcast settings.

A broadcast appears, but will not connect

Possible cause: The signal is weak, the broadcast has stopped, or the broadcast is password-protected.

  1. Ask venue staff to confirm that the selected broadcast is public and still active. Encrypted/password-protected broadcasts are not supported in this version.
  2. Move closer to the transmitter, highlight the correct public broadcast with Up or Down, and press ENTER.
  3. If it still fails, switch AuraView OFF, then ON, and select the public broadcast again.

Done: A connected mark appears and the program is audible. Otherwise contact support with the transmitter model and displayed broadcast name.

I hear the wrong program

Possible cause: AuraView is connected to a different nearby broadcast.

  1. Ask staff for the exact broadcast name.
  2. Wake the display, highlight that name with Up or Down, and press ENTER.

Done: You hear the intended program. If the names are unclear or similar, ask staff to identify the correct transmitter.

Sound cuts in and out

Possible cause: A weak broadcast signal, an unstable audio plug, or interrupted source audio.

  1. Move AuraView closer to the transmitter and check whether sound becomes steady.
  2. Reseat the 3.5mm plug; try another wired listening device if available.
  3. If several receivers cut out together, ask staff to check the transmitter’s source audio.

Done: Audio plays continuously. If interruptions continue, contact support with the distance, transmitter model and whether other receivers are affected.

The screen is dark or buttons seem inactive

Possible cause: The display is asleep, the power switch is OFF, or the battery is low.

  1. Press any button once. After about 30 seconds of inactivity, AuraView’s screen sleeps; the first button press only wakes the display.
  2. Check the power switch is ON.
  3. If the screen still does not light, connect USB-C power and check for a charging icon.

Done: The screen lights and a second button press operates the selected control. If no charging indication appears, check charging or contact support.

A receiver does not charge

Possible cause: A loose cable, an unpowered dock, or a receiver not fully seated.

  1. For USB-C charging, reconnect both cable ends and use a 5V USB charger rated 500mA–2A. Try another suitable cable and power source.
  2. For a dock, check the supplied power connection and dock switch. Reseat the receiver and try another slot.
  3. If dock charging still fails, connect the receiver directly by USB-C to check whether charging starts.

Done: The receiver shows its charging indication or the occupied dock slot shows red, then green when complete. If neither method works, contact support; do not attempt an undocumented battery replacement procedure.
