Bringing exhibition audio to every listening station
Museum Sinclair-Haus in Bad Homburg, Germany, uses Oasis Aura transmitters and Eon Aura T headphones for exhibition listening. From video artworks to a dedicated podcast station, headphones give visitors a personal way to engage with the museum’s audio content.
Audio alongside the exhibits
Museum Sinclair-Haus places headphones directly beneath its exhibition video screens, keeping the sound close to the work visitors are viewing. Wall-mounted headphone holders integrate the listening equipment into the gallery, alongside the displays and artworks.
Separate groups for different audio sources
The museum’s setup uses Oasis Aura transmitters with Eon Aura T headphones configured into separate Auracast groups. Each group is assigned to its intended transmitter. After updating the headphone firmware and completing the group configuration, the installation team described the process simply: “Yes, the grouping worked without any problems !”
A dedicated space for podcast listening
A podcast station offers three headphone listening positions alongside information about the museum’s exhibition themes. Here, visitors can explore conversations with guests from art and science, extending the exhibition experience through audio.
One exhibition, different ways to listen
Headphones serve two distinct settings within Museum Sinclair-Haus: video displays in the galleries and a dedicated podcast station. Grouped Auracast listening brings the venue-provided headphones together with the audio sources used throughout these installations.
